CERTIFIED SWPPP CONSULTANTS
Austin | Dallas / Fort Worth | Houston | San Antonio
The environmental laws for the construction industry are continuously changing, becoming more stringent each and every year. Keeping up with these laws has developed into a full time job for individuals within the construction industry. If your projects are not properly managed by an environmental professional, you run the risk of being non-compliant which could result in serious financial penalties. Many in the construction industry assign this task to an individual within the company. This forces someone to perform multiple jobs, taking productivity away from the original job for which they were hired.

EMG offers free site assessments on a project of your choice. EMG will show you areas of compliance, along with the areas that need improvement. After the site assessment, EMG will design several options of compliance programs for your company, allowing you to choose the program that fits your budget.
EMG develops a site -specific, detailed SWP3 to meet our client's needs. A Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) is the first step in stormwater compliance. You are required to have a SWPPP developed before you file for your permit. A good SWPPP is the key element in stormwater compliance. The SWPPP tells your story in stormwater compliance and how your company will prevent pollution from occurring.
EMG believes in one SWPPP for one site. Each SWPPP is designed to meet our client’s needs. We have the capability to produce a SWPPP within 48 hours.
If you are going to be disturbing soil, you are likely required to file a permit. Failure to obtain coverage under the general permit is the number one violation given by enforcement agencies.
EMG assures you that your permit will be complete, with site specific details included. EMG will file and mail all of your permits, and ensure that it is properly posted on site.
Inspections are required to be performed on every site with a permit. A well written, detailed inspection will inform you on what needs to be done on site. It also documents your compliance history, showing that you are being a good steward of the environment.
EMG only hires Certified Storm Water Inspectors. Our certified inspectors are up to date on environmental laws, continuously looking out for our client’s best interests. After each inspection, our inspectors offer an on-site consultation, ensuring that our clients understand what is needed to maintain compliance.
EMG can design a training program to meet your company’s needs. We have training presentations ranging from an on-site toolbox training to a 6-hour qualified inspector program.
Training your employees and subcontractors will increase their awareness of site conditions, allowing them to schedule construction activities ensuring compliance.
